Wikispaces (10 points)

this is courtney and my experance on wiki so far has been a blast!! we could use the wiki pages in the classroom by having sonmeone take notes and then post them in wiki so that anybody that missed that day in what ever class could use them to review what they have missed.
i think wikis could be used to make rubrics on how we should be scored,that way,we can edit each other and it will take alot less timt then writing and erasing,i also think hat thats a ood i dea,courtney

I think it is fine, but I don't know what we are going to use it for. What are we going t use it for? Other than that I think it is good.
I like wiki spaces and being in the computer lab but i like email better... no offense
This is cameron and so far I think that this wiki space is very cool and I also think that it is very informational in a good way.

I like the WIkispaces except I think it's waste time when some one write something and it is erased or edited only moments later. I do think that is is fun and is a good learning experience for everyone.

Wiki space it awsome, but people are deleting things that souldn't be. I think the delete button should be banned on wikispaces, unless the teacher sas or you ask.
I like wikispaces because it is a good way to communicate and it is accurate because everyone can get their thoughts in. I think we could use wikispaces in our class to get assignments, we could use the email so kids who missed a day can get assignments

tristen we could use this in every class and it would also benifit the people at home because we could look up what we missed that day and we could also review pages for tests! is that a better explanation for you tristen???
I think that wiki spaces are really fun and we can all share our opinions. I really like them and think that we should deffinetly keep using them!
Hi Mrs. Keith I think that the Wiki spaces has been a cool experience and a great opportunity to learn cool stuff about social studies!
I don't think that it is very fair for people to earase what someone else wrote. I think that if someone erases someone elses writing, they should leave a note saying why they earased it. Then no one's feelings would be hurt and we could have good classroom disscussions and arguments.
I think that we should keep using the wikispaces because it is a good way to review subjects and everyone can share their opinion on the wikispace.

I think that we should keep on using the wikispaces because if you made a mistake and you didn't catch it, it's not the end of the world. You can always edit it. The wikispaces does have some downs to it because if you spent a long time writing a paper it can be erased in a couple seconds.
People should be able to edit the wikispace entries but only for the right reasons. If we want to be able to use the wikispaces we shouldn't enter something into the wikispace if it has nothing to do with the subject.
why do people post as anonymous and then say their name?
I like the wiki space and i think it's a good thing to use when we summarize the chapters that we've learned about.
I really like the wiki space. You don't have to actually work with the person the can be any where and you can share ideas.
I think they are a cool way to comunicate and disscus what we are doing in Social Studies. Becaus eit is using technology and technology is fun

Mrs.Keith, I don't like wikispaces so far...I can't figure anything out and
people are deleting stuff we write. It's not so good right now. I think there's just a few too many bugs in this system to work. Sorry Mrs.Keith, it's just my opinion.But I do like Courtney's idea and agree with Tristen-Why do people post with anonymous and then say their name???
Wikispaces are very confusing at first but as you keep going it gets a lot easier. I think that it's a good idea! I really like wikispaces and I think that in the future a lot more people will use them instead of emailing like we do now! I really like them, but people keep deleting my posts for fun! It is mean and it has to stop! Please.
when ever I put an Idea on the wikispace I see it and then it's gone in a min.

wiki is so confusing at first it was so complicated i didnt get it at all at first..but when i acually learned about it and stuf flike that it became a lot easier and more fun to work and use in school

The thing I don't like about wiki spaces is people don't take it seriously always and the delete things because they can. I don't think that is right because now the have to take time to rewrite it instead of going on with another idea
I agree with Ashlyn. The wiki space only works if people don't delete the things others say. I think it makes sense to delete things that don't make sense, but it doesn't make sense to delete things that actually have to do with the chapter.

I hate it when people think its funny to delete others work and not pet any thing. It dumb because you can check who did it.

We could also have mini class discussions on wiki spaces, as long as everyone stays on takes.

I don't like the deleting festival going on right now. It's not fair. We can't delete our comments here why have that chance and the chance to do it to some one else, too?
Something that we could do is go in order and take turns adding one sentence each to the wiki space.
I think that Courtney's idea is good! But the problem is that people might go online and delete it as a joke, and then all our hard work would be gone in a single click! I think that people should start taking this class seriously!

I agree with a lot of the people who are saying that the wikis are cool, but that we shouldn't be deleting each other's work. That's not fair...

The wiki pages are a lot of fun so far!!! We might want to block some of the features, though... otherwise all the directions will get erased immediately...
I think that the wiki space is a very good thing because kids have different ideas that they could have. I think that in a way it is not good because kids can erase what someone else wrote and put something else that is off the subject. If there was a thing that if something that is write no one can erase only the things that are not write can be erased.
I think that the wikispaces are pretty useful. However, I think that we all need a little help on learning how to use the links.

The wikibooks are working pretty well! I think it would be helpful, though, if there was something, like in Webease, where you can block people from editing the page.
